Project Zero Labs / Backstage

Club software, built behind the booth

Run the whole night without the internet.

Entertainer check-in and house fees, DJ rotation, VIP room timers and ID scanning at the door, all on one system that stays on the club's own Wi-Fi. If the connection drops, the night keeps going.

I ran the night at Lido Cabaret for seven years.

I worked as a manager and a DJ at Lido and at a couple of other clubs in the area. Every club I worked in had problems that software could fix, and that is why I made Backstage in the first place.

It covers the jobs I did every night: checking entertainers in, running the rotation, timing VIP rooms and checking IDs at the door.

It runs on the club's own computer and Wi-Fi, so the night doesn't depend on the internet.

What it runs

Door

Scan the barcode on a driver's license and get a green 21+ or a red stop. Record cover charges, comps and voids from the same phone.

Check-in and house fees

Check entertainers in at the office, collect the house fee, and they land in the stage rotation automatically.

DJ rotation

Stage order, song counts and timers in one view, shared live between the booth, the office and the door.

VIP rooms

Rates by the song or by the hour, house split, and a countdown for every room so nothing runs over unnoticed.

End of day

Door and fee totals in one close-out, with an automatic backup of the night's data.

Offline first

Phones and desktops talk to the club's own computer over its Wi-Fi. Everything keeps working with no internet, and catches up when it returns.

In progress  A banned and VIP patron list that flags people on an ID scan, and spoken stage announcements for the booth.

How a free pilot works

  1. Walk through it

Fifteen minutes on how your club runs a night and what slows it down.

  2. Install it

I set it up on the club's office computer and the door staff's phones. Thirty days, free.

  3. Tell me what's missing

You use it on real nights and tell me what to fix. If it doesn't earn its place, you walk away.

Talk to the person who built it

If you manage or own a club on the Space Coast or nearby and want to try it, reach out. I'll show it to you on a real screen.
